| Providing housing, clothing and food gives physical happiness (Sukha); educating in skills and worldly information gives a means of livelihood. But ancient scriptures proclaim, Na Sukat Labhate Sukham - Real and lasting happiness cannot be won through physical happiness. Happiness that is not shaken, diminished or modified by good fortune or bad can come only by disciplining the mind and faith in a Higher Power that guides all your words, thoughts and deeds. The lamp of that spiritual awareness must be lit and fed, so that every being can walk that path and proceed unharmed. The Scriptures also declare that you can attain that everlasting happiness through duty performed as 'worship'. Dedication to your duty reveals the Oneness of the Universe when your Intelligence is cleared of the dust of doubt and delusion.
