Doing something because it is being done elsewhere is a sign of ignorance. The service programs must satisfy a need, solve a local difficulty and must be adapted to local conditions. Do not think of the satisfaction of doing something concrete or about the name, fame or praise you will win. Do not crave for publicity...crave for the joy that shines in the face of the people whom you help. Selfless service brings you nearer to Me.
