Every person is prone to commit mistakes without being aware of it. However light the fire maybe, some smoke is bound to emanate from it. So also, whatever good deed one might do, there is likely to be a trace of evil in it. However, efforts should be made to ensure that evil is minimized so that the good is more and the bad is less in due course of time. You must also carefully think over the consequences of what you do, talk or execute. In whatever way you want others to honour you, or to behave with you, in the same way, you should first behave with others, love and honour them. Only then will they honour you. Instead, if you don’t love and honour others, and complain that they are not treating you properly, it is surely a wrong conclusion.
-Prema Vahini, Chap "The Harvest of a Sadhaka".
